Rugby 2013 has a busy calendar and kicking into touch with the Women’s Six Nations in February 2013 when Ireland will take on the mighty fire breathing dragons from Wales, this promises to be a fiercely fought battle between two of the great teams of modern day women’s rugby. The fire breathing Welch, famous for their ferocious frontline, may well find that the green dragon slayers are ready for a battle royal.
Also on February 1st 2013 it is the turn of the young pretenders when the Six Nations U20 kicks off with another head on collision between Ireland and Wales. These U20 teams have little to learn as they have already shown their metal on the green fields of the Six Nations, this new blood coming up through the ranks will ensure that both Ireland and Wales have world class rugby players for many years to come.
The Six Nations continues on February 2nd with Wales v Ireland at The Millennium Stadium and England v Scotland at Twickenham, the former at 1.30pm and the latter at 4pm. Italy will also face France at the Stadio Olimpico on the 3rd February and kicking off at 3pm.
The U20 Six Nations continues 8th February with Ireland taking on the Lions (England) at Dubarry Park. On the 9th February Scotland the brave will take on Italy at Murrayfield at 2.30pm, and France will face Wales at Stade de France at 5pm.
Also on the 9th February the Women’s Six Nations continues with Ireland taking on the English Lions at Ashbourne, which offers a rare opportunity to enjoy world class rugby at a venue outside the big smoke.
The Six Nations continues 10th February with a monster game as Ireland take on England at The world famous Aviva Stadium at 3pm. The U20 Six Nations continues 22nd February with Ireland taking on Scotland at Galashiels. The Six Nations 23rd February will see Italy take on Wales at Stadio Olimpico at 2.30pm and England will challenge the French at Twickenham at 5pm.
On February 23rd the Women’s Six Nations will see a clash of the greatest when Ireland fights it out with Scotland at Midlothian, also on the 23rd Ireland U18 Clubs v Italy U18 at Ashbourne RFC.
February 24th sees a Six Nations battle between Ireland and Scotland at Murrayfield at 2pm.
